Devi Mahatmya, also known as Durga Saptashati or Chandi Path, is associated with the Markandeya Purana. Its traditional reading is organised into thirteen chapters.
Opening and concluding prayers accompany the main chapters in many reading traditions. The chosen household routine in our companion keeps Kavach, Argala and Kilaka in order, then the assigned chapters and the selected concluding texts.
