Puranas are varied works with narrative and devotional material. They should be approached by the name of the work and the chosen edition, rather than treated as one uniform book.
A study library may organise named works such as Vishnu Purana, Shiva Purana, Bhagavata Purana and Markandeya Purana. Those titles describe a future collection here; this introduction does not imply that their complete texts are already available.
For each release we will distinguish a source passage, a new translation, a traditional commentary and an original child-friendly story.
